COVID-19 UPDATE
Our Response During COVID-19
SA Wellness Centre is closely monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) as the situation unfolds and taking numerous steps to ensure both our staff, clients and communities feel safe and comfortable during any outbreaks. We have a team of leaders meeting regularly to discuss our ongoing response and remain watchful for the latest information from health authorities and the Australian government.
The health and safety of our staff and clients is of our utmost importance. Given the rate of spread and the effect the virus is having on vulnerable parts of our population, we have implemented several safeguard measures to enhance the protection of you and our staff when you receive allied health treatment.

We have created a COVIDSafe workplace by implementing:
- Cleaning and disinfecting schedule in our treatment rooms, waiting area, kitchen, breakout rooms and yoga studio.
- Hand sanitiser made available in all spaces.
- Record keeping, QR Code, etc.
- Floor markings to reinforce physical distancing.
- Density quotient of one person per four square metres of clinical settings, with a maximum of 10 people per space.
- Air conditioner set to optimum air flow at the start of each work day.
Tele-Health Appointments are available
SA Wellness Centre is reducing the need to physically attend our clinics by introducing the national Tele-Health platform for physiotherapy. This is a system that allows patients (mainly the vulnerable), to remain isolated.
For the majority, delivery of physiotherapy via Telehealth to the comfort of your own home will be a new experience, but our clinics across Australia are well established and we have had great feedback from patients who have been using the service.
Our Telehealth consultations will deliver the same exceptional level of care as our in-clinic service, where our experienced team of physiotherapists will develop a tailored treatment plan designed to get clients.
With Telehealth, your preferred physiotherapist will contact you via video chat on your mobile phone, tablet or your computer.
Book Online now to request a Bulk-Billed Tele-Health Consultation with one of our physiotherapists today.

HYGIENE AND CLEANING PRACTICES
We’re closely following the advice received from Australian medical authorities and the World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks concerned with COVID-19. We’ve implemented health and safety precautions and are continuing to provide the latest updates to our staff to ensure they’re well informed before you book, reschedule or cancel your appointment.
We’re ensuring our staff maintains high hygiene standards in our waiting rooms, treatment rooms, yoga studio areas. This includes practicing proper hand sanitising and washing procedures and patient screening.
Adhering to a checklist, our clinic is cleaned very frequently with the use of antibacterial cleaning products that help reduce the risk of possible harmful viruses. We are asking our patients to sanitise their hands upon entering and exiting our clinics.
