Melissa's self-healing journey began in 2012, following her second 'unexplained' ectopic pregnancy and the removal of both fallopian tubes. Faced with this diagnosis, she began to question the term 'unexplained,' recognising that there was likely an underlying health issue or imbalance at play. Her fertility challenges continued, eventually leading to IVF treatments for two of her three children. Along the way, she was also diagnosed with Adenomyosis and offered medication to reduce its growth and improve fertility outcomes. However, feeling uncertain about the medication, Melissa chose to forgo it and instead sought support from a Naturopath to assist her on her fertility and wellness path.
Melissa's experience with reducing Adenomyosis naturally, under the guidance of her Naturopath, sparked her interest in natural health, and she decided to pursue a career in the field. Melissa completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy with Distinction (BHSc.Nat), driven by a desire to help others on their healing journeys.
Melissa takes an integrative approach to naturopathic medicine, combining modern scientific advances with ancient traditions and holistic wellness practices.
She focuses on providing her clients with the education and resources needed to achieve their wellness goals. Believing in a client-empowered and collaborative model of care, she works closely with clients to develop personalised plans that guide them towards better health.
