What is this Beginner Yoga Course about?
Over the course of five weeks you’ll cover the basic building blocks of yoga so that you can feel confident taking a class and practice safely.
The course will focus on introducing the fundamentals of a physical yoga practice. Students will learn safe alignment in foundational poses, using props, pranayama (yogic breathing), how to connect breath to movement through aligning the body, as well as mindful practices and developing self awareness – all in a welcoming and comfortable environment.
No experience is needed, please feel welcome as you are.
This 5-week block of classes allows you to have a linear experience and to build upon what you have learned in each class.
