CHIROPRACTORS

Dr. Peter

Director and Co-founder

Dr. Peter

Dr Peter Roennfeldt is director and co-founder of SA wellness Centre in Adelaide, a centre where healthcare professionals work together, helping people, businesses and communities with health and wellness needs.

He completed his Chiropractic studies at RMIT University graduating with Distinction in 2005. He also has a keen interest in health and lifestyle sciences and has completed post-graduate studies and training as a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle Practitioner (CCWP).

As a Chiropractor, his main focus is to enhance and improve people’s lives by providing professional Chiropractic care in an Evidence-Based Manner. He is dedicated to chiropractic solutions for people of all ages, with a genuine passion for the health and wellbeing of the people coming to SA wellness centre for chiropractic services. By helping people gain an understanding of the underlying condition of their spines and the related structures, Dr Peter tailors care towards the individuals he sees and is passionate about measuring and tracking their progress so they can make informed decisions and see their progress.

He also enjoys empowering people with ethical lifestyle changes that are scientifically based so people know what they can do to reach and maintain a quality of life they desire.

Dr Peter specialises in using a range of techniques to suit individual needs and enjoys reading research, books and attending seminars in order to stay up to date with the latest knowledge.

He is a registered Chiropractor under AHPRA, a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA), and also a member of the International Chiropractors Association Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science.

Dr. Vicki

Dr. Vicki

Dr Vicki has been a chiropractor for over 20 years practising in Adelaide and country areas.

Dr Vicki is passionate about how chiropractic, along with a healthy lifestyle of exercise, nutrition and a positive mental attitude can assist the body to function at its best.

Dr Vicki has her own three young adult children and understands the stresses and strains of modern life and its impact on our health.

She loves to work with all individuals, specialising in families with children of all age groups, teenagers and adults.

She also loves working with athletes from the young beginner to elite levels of fitness and enjoys seeing the results chiropractic can bring to their performance.

All age groups are welcome to come in for spinal analysis to see how chiropractic care may help to improve and enhance their life.

Vicki believes that “Chiropractic can be beneficial to people from all different walks of life. I love meeting people that come to me for help with their differences and backgrounds. My passion is to work with them to find solutions to their problems.”

Dr. Brad

Dr. Brad

Dr. Brad is a Chiropractor in Adelaide who has a passion for natural health. He strives to provide the highest quality care to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Dr. Brad graduated from Macquarie University in Melbourne and he also holds a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic.

Dr. Brad is a team player and thrives in an environment with like-minded professionals. Dr. Brad has a great reputation backed by his attentiveness to patients needs and his successful history of well-adjusted customers who now enjoy a better quality of life. On a technical level, Dr. Brad offers a range of chiropractic solutions including precise adjustments to patients of all ages.

Dr. Bronte

Dr. Bronte

Dr. Bronte decided to become a chiropractor after she experienced the benefits of chiropractic care for herself and through her family as she grew up. She uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, Activator, drop-piece, and soft tissue techniques to tailor care to her patient’s specific needs during their health care journey.

Dr. Bronte graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science/ Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) in 2021.  She has also gained her level one certification in Myofascial Dry Needling and Cupping from the Manual Medicine Australasia.

Outside of Chiropractic, Dr. Bronte enjoys spending time with her family and her cat Mr. Boots. She loves to travel and to go for hikes to explore.

Dr. Bronte is a registered Chiropractor under AHPRA and a member of the Australia Chiropractors Association (ACA).

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Rebecca

Physiotherapist

Rebecca

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Since then she has been working in private practice, as well as working with a variety of junior and senior sports teams.

She comes to physiotherapy following her own injuries throughout the years from various sports, she realised the importance of physiotherapy for ongoing health and wellness. She has extensive training in acute injuries especially on the football field following 5 years of football training experience.

Her special interests are in Sports Physiotherapy and in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and is passionate about helping people understand their body and return them to their best version and wants to enable people to be able to manage their problems in the long term.

Rebecca offers exercise rehabilitation as well dry needling. She also has a special soft spot for ankle injuries and preventing reoccurring ankle sprains particularly in young athletes.

Outside the Physiotherapy room, she enjoys completing Crossfit in her spare time and spending time with her 2 Maltese Shih Tzu dogs at the beach. 

Gareth

Gareth

Gareth completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree through the University of South Australia, after having previously completed a Bachelor (Honours) degree in Sports Science & Exercise Physiology in the UK.

Over the last 19 years, he has worked with children and adults of all ages, across a range of abilities to help them achieve their health, fitness, and sporting goals – often assisting them to overcome injuries and other physical/mental conditions.

He has always aspired to work within the musculoskeletal domain of physiotherapy and endeavors to bring his previous qualifications and experience to assist all clients. Whilst he has a particular interest in gym and sporting injuries and rehabilitation, he is passionate about helping all ages and abilities to live their best possible lifestyle.

Outside of the clinic, his interests include undertaking all kinds of exercise, and watching almost any sport! He also enjoys cooking, worldwide travel, and of course, taking his dog for a walk!

MYOTHERAPISTS

Diego

Myotherapist & Hijama Practitioner

Diego joined the SA Wellness Centre team in January 2020 as a Myotherapist.

Diego comes from a nursing and pathology background and studied a Bachelor degree in Health Science in Myotherapy. He is also one of the first certified Hijama practitioners in SA. His duty of care is exceptional. Diego also offers dry needling, dry cupping and wet cupping to help with various types of muscle pain such as, upper and lower back pain, sciatica, headaches and migraines, shoulder pain; just to name a few.

As a Myotherapist, Diego is committed to delivering exceptional treatment, providing relief from injury and discomfort, and encouraging creative flow in a nurturing, professional environment.

Harley

Harley

Harley began studying a Bachelor of Health Science – Myotherapy to help not only himself but for others in healing their bodies from a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. His focus with his clients is to reduce pain, improve the quality of function in muscles and joints, and client education. Harley’s interests lay in acute and chronic conditions of the musculoskeletal system and he can utilise a variety of techniques such as cupping, dry needling, and joint mobilisation to list a few in the treatment and care of his clients.

Harley’s also a professional soccer player. Having a background in sports and doing it for nearly two decades now has influenced him to follow this career path. Harley has always been interested in taking the best care of his own body from a recovery point of view and that has led to an interest in helping others with their own recovery and management of injuries.

Brooke

Brooke has a passion for helping and nurturing people through massage therapy. She is someone that you can trust, as she only wants the best outcome for her clients.

Brooke’s go-to massage technique is trigger point therapy combined with myofascial release to help decrease discomfort and pain for her clients.

She’s also well trained in sports massage, deep tissue massage, relaxation and pregnancy massage to help her clients reach their goals and improve their quality of life.

Away from the massage table, she enjoys any beach walks and hanging out with friends and family. She grew up locally, participating in local sport, mainly volleyball at a state level.

Estela

Remedial Massage Therapist

Estela

Estela is an Australian certified Remedial Massage Therapist gaining her accreditation from the well-recognised Australian College of Eastern Medicine. Estela studied a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Estela has more than 20 years of physiotherapy clinical experience and she has focused her career on remedial massage therapy, pilates, postural rehabilitation, and myofascial therapy. Estela’s professional qualifications plus numerous hours of ‘hands-on’ experience for more than twenty years has given her a reputation for distinction in her field.

Estela is passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals, either for relieving pain or recovering from injuries by guiding them to create self-awareness and self-control of their bodies. She used to work with orthopedic/musculoskeletal and neurological patients.

She believes that mind and body should be fully interconnected for a healthy lifestyle and that her job is to support clients to understand their limits and strengths to improve their quality of life.

Kanex

Remedial Massage Therapist

Kanex

Kanex completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at Southern Cross Education Institute in 2017 and with an additional qualification in Dry Needling in 2019. She has been working in this industry for more than 6 years and she specialized with a large focus on deep tissue/remedial style treatments where she also incorporates different techniques to aid the release of muscular tension. In 2020, she also gained her Certificate III In Fitness to help her clients achieve their wellness goals.

She uses Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Hot Stones, Cupping, Dry Needling, stress and pain relief as well as reflexology to assist with her techniques based on client’s individual needs.

Keli

Remedial Massage Therapist

Keli

Keli has a passion for the human body and psychology which has led her to a career as a massage therapist where she can help people use their bodies and minds to their full capabilities. She believes massage to be a wonderful gift we can give ourselves, and that the benefits to body and soul are boundless.

She offers relaxation, sports, deep tissue, remedial, pregnancy massage as well as cupping therapy. Her approach to massage, no matter what modality, is first in developing trust and a state of relaxation. She has a gentle but firm technique that can be adjusted to each client based on their needs and preferences each time they visit.

Keli loves working closely with clients of all ages to understand the contributing factors to their physical condition and help improve their quality of life and well-being through a proactive maintenance approach.

She is originally from the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia where she grew up on her family farm, playing sports and fostering an enormous love for nature and the ocean. In her free time, she loves surfing, walking the dog, yoga, gardening, and cooking.

Joel

Remedial Massage Therapist

Joel

Joel is dedicated and thorough, he has a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Evolve College and he is currently completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiology and Pathology from the University of Adelaide in 2018.

Joel is happy to share his knowledge and provide exceptional, tailored therapy. He offers a wide variety of massage styles such as Relaxation, Sports, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
Outside of the clinic, you will find Joel going for walks or hanging out with his two dogs, Max and Levi.

Lorena

Managing Director and Co-founder

Lorena

Lorena brings 15+ years of experience in financial and operational management as well as business development to the role of Managing Director. She was also one of the co-founders of SA Wellness Centre

She has a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Australia. Lorena has worked in Adelaide for the government in the financial sector. Her experience includes insolvency accounting, business planning and marketing.

Lorena believes strongly in the power of culture and is inspired by the team at SA Wellness Centre on a daily basis. She feels fortunate to work with such a dedicated and credentialed healthcare team to achieve the vision of SA Wellness Centre for excellence in health optimisation, rehabilitation and pain management in Adelaide’s south.

Her Chiropractic journey began in 2007 after experiencing a range of chiropractic solutions for herself. The vision was to provide a health centre in South Australia where health professionals work together providing health solutions aimed at improving people’s lives, while also providing health and wellness needs to communities and businesses.

Lorena works with our allied health practitioners in keeping the team organised and in helping with new solutions for more comprehensive health and wellness programs. Taking the extra step and helping SA Wellness Centre distinguish itself as a qualitative, data-driven, solutions clinic. Lorena’s detail is matched by her attentiveness to each and every SA Wellness Centre customer.

Jacqui

Principal Receptionist

Jacqui

Jacqui is an integral member of our patients’ services team. As your first point of contact, Jacqui will warmly welcome you to SA Wellness Centre. She completed her studies in Aromatherapy and Physiology in 2019.

Jacqui is warm, compassionate and empathic, understanding that each person has their own unique set of requirements regarding customized chiropractic solutions tailored to suit their journey towards better health and improved state of wellness. Jacqui brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role at SA Wellness. Having over 14 years of experience in administration, Jacqui loves greeting everyone with a friendly smile and getting to know all the patients as they come through the practice.

Jacqui strongly believes that a holistic approach to complementary therapy plays a pivotal role in improving and maintaining our psychological and physical well-being.

Outside of the centre Jacqui spends time with her family, friends and fur children and can often be found indulging her love of the outdoors going on hikes, kayaking and lazing in the sunshine.

Caitlin

Caitlin is a vibrant positive person, with a keen interest in health and wellbeing. She is an active listener who will take time to hear your needs and put you on the right path with our multidisciplinary team.

Caitlin is passionate about the wellbeing of others and brings her excitement to work each and every day.

Outside the centre, she enjoys spending time at the beach, walking her dog, cooking, baking and doing jigsaw puzzles!

Lauren

Lauren

Lauren joined our lovely reception team in Jan 2022 and her previous years of experience came from the retail and the childcare sector. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Flinders University and is currently studying for a Master’s Degree. Lauren is a great addition to our team, she jumped right into her work and it felt like she had already been with us for years.

Lauren loves talking and getting to know our clients individually and she is very passionate about people feeling comfortable and confident in their journey with health and wellbeing.

Outside of working, you will find her spending time with her fiancé and children. She loves spending time walking on the beach with a cheeky coffee in hand!
